The benefit of supported hikes
Going back in history animals always been trust companions on the trail, their strength and will permit them to carry all the heavy gear, leaving us hikers with only a day pack free to discover wilderness without weight on our back.

Horses and huskies enlighten and bring richness every step of the trail in teaching us simplicity, presence and true friendship. They inspired us as human to be stronger, humble and grateful towards nature. Through history they always been unique companion for exploring the vast wilderness and the benefit of this strong collaboration is something you can only experience and keep long time memories of.

Supported hikes open accessibility to backcountry and stunning sceneries to families and hikers regardless of their physical fitness by taking the burden of the weight away. On our backpacking horse-supported trek, all gear is carried by packhorses allowing you to hike light but without compromising on the comfort needed to enjoy and discover the beauty of wilderness camping. It's a fantastic way if you are a new adventure seeker or just want to experience a multi-day backcountry differently.

The story behind
This idea of supported hikes all started while walking my mare on an alpine hill during a packhorse expedition I was guiding, my dog on my heel, and seeing how everyone instinctively start walking along with their horses feeling energized and fulfill. How incredible this special connection with such powerful but sensible animal could make our journey in wilderness so easy; packing up to 150 lbs on their back. This image of horse and human as equal roaming the wild landscape stayed. Is there a more beautiful simple way open to all to feel the land, than on foot? Free to explore light as a feather travelling with the best partners packhorse and dogs, as it's always been part of The Yukon history.
OUR ADVENTURES
Ready to disconnect and follow your feet to explore the untamed beauty of Yukon wilderness. Based out an off grid camp near Lu Zil Män (Fish lake) in an alpine valley surrounded by mountains peak, we have a direct access to a wide variety of itineraries. Join us on one of our amazing backcountry hikes. We believe in a sustainable tourism minimizing the impact on the land which we are proud to share, and in small immersive experience (2 to 6 hikers). Be warned, the mountains around carry what we call the Yukon Spell and our animals have a secret whisper as ancient as the wind that gets to your heart!

DAY HIKE WITH HUSKY
IN THE ALPINE
Perfect if you want a shorter nature wonder. You can even take 2 days hiking, explore different trails and be back in town. Fish lake located 20 min from Whitehorse is a pure gem for those who seek to explore the backcountry immerse in breathtaking views, learn about wildlife, flora and Yukon rich culture along our trusty sled dogs.​
